You are always welcome at the library! Have a cup of coffee, bring your own food or buy a snack at the café, ask for help, get inspired – or just hang out for a while in our cozy environment.
If you want to borrow...
– our materials or gain access to our databases and digital services (e-books,audio-books, movies etc.) you have to sign a library membership. It is free of charge.
Remember to bring your yellow health card and photo ID when you come around to sign up. It only takes a few minutes.

If you need help to find relevant literature or primary sources, specific information for projects or access to special databases, you can book a librarian for half an hour.
Remember to inform about your specific needs in advance. The librarian may need to prepare and conduct targeted research beforehand.

MakerSpace Herning
Use of the MakerSpace equipment at the Library in Herning is FREE
Our makerspace is a collaborative work space for designing, exploring and sharing tech ideas and tech tools.
We have a variety of maker equipment including 3D printers, laser cutters, soldering irons, and even sewing machines.
